Here is what I want to remember from my time going down the mountain last week.
- One turn at a time, looking too far ahead will trip me up.
- The present is the place to be (duh!). When my thoughts went other places, or when I tried to figure other things out the ride was not as smooth.
- It is all about the self talk, and the way I think about and choose to believe in myself. Gotta keep the vibes high and positive.
- When I tried to slide into someone else's tracks that were left behind I lost my flow. I have to, get to - carve my own path.
- Likewise, when I compared myself to my lack of map reading, leading, and guiding skills my confidence plummeted. It is not my forte, and it doesn't have to be. I have other things to offer.
I want my life to feel like the ease and joy of gliding down the mountain. It was a great big adventure, and we were so lucky to be able to go. We made some great memories, and time in nature just cannot be beat. So here we go. Wheeeeeeee!
